Ally Mastroianni

" I am thrilled to be working with the Draw Control Academy. The draw is one of my favorite aspects of the game and I am super passionate about teaching it. It's a very specialized position that requires intentional and detailed training. I want to provide the best draw-specific training nationwide that will transform girls' skill-set and make them a dominant force at the center circle."

Ally Mastroianni is a National Champion, World Champion and Athlete's Unlimited professional lacrosse player. During her time at UNC, she helped lead her team to 4 ACC Championships, a National Championship, and earned National Midfielder of the Year, First-Team All-American, 2x ACC Midfielder of the Year, Tewaaraton Finalist, etc. She ended her career as Carolina’s career leader in draw controls with 360.

After playing at UNC, she went on to win a Gold Medal with Team USA at the 2022 Women's World Championship. Mastroianni set a tournament record with 38 draw controls, including seven draws against Canada in the Gold Medal Game.

Now, she competes professionally with Athlete's Unlimited where she has finished in the top 10 two years in a row.

Ally is extremely passionate about growing the game worldwide. She spends her time sharing her knowledge and skills through teaching and coaching all around the world. She is particularly passionate about teaching the draw. She believes it is a crucial component to the game of lacrosse that is not taught enough. It is a specialized position that requires a lot of knowledge and skill. Mastroianni has dedicated her time to learning and teaching various components that are essential to dominating at the center circle – wrist speed, wrist strength, reaction, pressure, toughness, one-hand grabs, strategy, confidence, and more.
